Will The Skip Bin Fit Down My Driveway?
Yes it will, as long as we have clearance of 2.5 metres wide and 4 metres in height. We cannot place skips under such things as trees, carports or inside garages.
Can I Put My Bin In My Garage / What Sort Of Access Do You Need?
NO our trucks work with a hoist system that lifts the bin up then lowers it off the back of the truck, therefore the bin cannot be placed under things such as trees, carports and garages. You need to allow clearance of approximately 5 metres in height.
Where Can I Place The Bin?
You tell us. Within reason, we can place the bin in most cases wherever is convenient for you. There are some areas we need to avoid, but generally wherever our truck can fit you can place a bin.
How Does Drop Off and Pick Up Services Work?
On the days of drop off and pick up, access is required from 7am. On the day the bin is being delivered or picked up the truck will need sufficient room. Please ensure that there are no cars are impeding or crowding the driveway or the location of the skip bin. If access is not possible, there will be an additional charge to cover costs for our driver to return at another time.
Can I Move My Bin?
NO. Once the bin has been positioned, it’s critical that you DO NOT move it. The reason for this is that the position you move it to may not be appropriate for our truck to pick it up from (turning circles, trees etc). When you are considering the placement of your Bin, take into account the chances of inclement weather making it difficult four our Driver to move the truck around without damaging your lawns or getting bogged.
What Can I Put In My Bin?
Times have changed in regards to what you can put in a skip bin and how we dump your waste at your local waste transfer station. We hire our bins for domestic waste, builders waste and rubble, metal only and green waste. You cannot mix these types of waste in a single bin. If you have different types of waste, consider hiring smaller bins for the job.
Please note NO FOOD WASTE OR MEDICAL WASTE (BIO HAZARD MATERIAL),NO CHEMICALS, NO PAINT, NO FRIDGES OR LARGE APPLIANCES OR LARGE FURNITURE. TYRES ON RIMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. If you are not sure please ask before you hire a bin, our team are here to help.
How Much Can I Put In My Bin?
Only fill the Bin to the level of the top rim. This is to ensure that rubbish does not fall out of the Bin as well as complying with State and Local Council Regulations. If you find out that you need another bin, contact us and we can arrange it without a problem.
Once you have finished with your bin we ask you to let us know so that we can arrange a pick up day.
What Time Will The Truck Arrive?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a time of arrival as the nature of our business is moment to moment and delays occasionally occur. If you do have a time constraint, please let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate you. You can also telephone our office after 7:30am on the day of delivery or pickup and we can give you a rough idea of what time to expect the driver.
