Thank you for choosing us in assisting you with your needs. The following information is to provide you with some helpful hints and requirements regarding these skip bins.
NO ASBESTOS or FIBRO, NO FOOD WASTE OR MEDICAL WASTE (BIO HAZARD MATERIAL),NO CHEMICALS, NO PAINT, NO FRIDGES OR LARGE APPLIANCES OR LARGE FURNITURE. TYRES ON RIMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Small amounts of Steel, metal or iron needs to be placed at the top of the bin so that our driver can ensure it is disposed of according to waste management guidelines. If you have a large amount of metal, you will need a seperate bin.
Bins are for seperate domestic Waste, Green Waste, Metal and Builders Rubble. These cannot be mixed in a single bin, please contact us for options.
Please do not overfill the bin. If you need an extra bin, please contact us and we can arrange one as soon as possible. Please ensure that the bin you order is the right size for your needs. In the event that our driver arrives to collect you bin and it has been overfilled, Wattle Town Skip Bins reserves the right to remove part of the bin contents in order to comply with legal requirements. Additional charges and fees may be payable if this occurs.
Due to Council Waste Management fees, there are extra charges for mattresses and tyres. Let us know if you are disposing of these. Place them at the top of the bin so that they can be easily sorted when we unload the bin.
Bin Hire is for a one week period, unless otherwise arranged. At the time of your booking the skip bin, a pick up day will also be arranged. We will contact you the weekday before your bin is due for collection to ensure everything is on schedule.
Want your bin longer? No problem, just contact and let us know and depending on bin availability, it can be done. There may be a additional fee, depending on how long you need it for.
Don’t pay for your neighbour’s clean up too! From experience, when a skip bin is placed and is there for an extended amount of time, not only do you incur additional fees, but there has been times where the local neighbourhood start filling your bin too. Please keep this in mind when you are considering when, where and how long you need the bin for.
Don’t move the bin. Once the bin is placed on site, please do not move the bin as it could cause difficulties for our truck driver to access it. Overhanging trees, muddy areas, garages and difficult to access areas can cause big problems for our driver.
